I have always had a passion for the healing arts and working with clients, in that way I was lucky I never had any doubt about what I wanted to do with my life. As far back as my mid-teens I remember attending yoga classes and studying body work, reflexology and was fascinated about healing and the potential of the mind and body!

Over 30 years later I still feel the same way, and even though like many therapist my passion was fuelled by my own struggles early in life with learning disorders, hearing problems, severe anxiety and a chronic stutter, the most satisfying thing for me now is seeing people grow, thrive and getting a sense of the potential of who they really are.

I was also lucky enough to have a strong willed mother who would not accept narrow, rigid, reductionist views about me, she managed to find many talented people who helped to turn things around for me and was instrumental in me starting yoga at age 14, studying psychology, massage and reflexology before the age of 20.

Her persistence and openness to locate what works still influences my approach today. This openness and persistence has really supported my personal journey and my work with my clients and has also meant I have many
approaches that I integrates into my work.

Currently I run a full time private practice in Melbourne’s inner Northern suburbs, my past work experience includes working in various community agencies, includes working in the drug and alcohol sector, mental health field, teaching, victims of crime and community health.

Although I was first trained as a psychologist my sole interest was always what works! This very quickly lead me into working in a more integrated and holistic way incorporating a range of therapies to meet my client’s individual needs.

My training includes; Psychology, hypnosis, meditation, bodywork, martial arts, herbal medicine, nutritional medicine, biofeedback and neurofeedback, Somatic Experiencing and other forms of psychotherapy (including psychodynamic, somatic, cognitive, humanistic and gestalt therapy). I have a special interest in working with Anxiety (and related conditions), Depression, peak performance, trauma (current or past), stress / burn out, personality, chronic illness and helping clients to change their brain and live life to the fullest. However, I am open to working with anyone who is committed to their own transformation.
